Cutimed Siltec B 7.5cm x 7.5cm Sterile 10 Pack
Cutimed Siltec B 7.5cm x 7.5cm Sterile 10 Pack is a silicone-coated, sterile, absorbent polyurethane foam dressing designed with superabsorbent stripes to help absorb and lock wound exudate. The wound contact surface is formulated to adhere to the periwound skin while not adhering to the moist wound bed or newly formed epithelial tissue, supporting atraumatic dressing changes. An additional self-adhesive silicone border helps provide secure and gentle fixation without the need for separate tape in many cases. The perforated silicone wound contact layer helps protect wound margins and may assist in reducing discomfort during removal. A highly breathable, water-repellent backing helps protect the dressing and supports proper fluid evaporation across changing stages of saturation. The dressing also offers good flexibility and conformability for use on various body parts, with an oval shape that helps provide an anatomical fit. Cutimed Siltec B may remain in place for up to 7 days depending on wound conditions and saturation. It is recommended to change the dressing every 24 hours initially, moving to less frequent changes as appropriate. The dressing can also be cut to size for a customised fit.
- Self-adhesive silicone border: Low allergy potential silicone border helps keep the dressing securely in place and supports easy application.
- Anatomical fit: Good flexibility and conformability across various body parts, with an oval shape designed for anatomical contours; can also be cut to size.
- Shower-proof backing: Highly breathable, water-repellent backing helps protect the dressing and may allow showering without removing or changing the dressing.
- Reliable exudate management: Vertical absorption helps ensure exudate is taken up and held inside the dressing, even under compression, with superabsorbent stripes supporting additional absorption capacity.
- Gentle to wound bed: Skin-friendly, perforated silicone wound contact layer helps prevent adherence to newly formed tissue and supports atraumatic, pain-reduced dressing changes.
