Cutimed Sorbion Sana Gentle Sterile 8.5cm x 8.5cm 10 Pack is a sterile, hydroactive, gel-forming, superabsorbent wound dressing designed for the management of wounds with low to excessive exudate levels. The dressing features a superabsorbent core with high retention capacity, an intermediate hypoallergenic polypropylene layer, and an outer wound contact layer made of polyethylene film with three-dimensional perforations. This atraumatic construction supports comfortable dressing changes by reducing adherence to the wound bed, while the 3-D perforated surface facilitates fluid flow towards the absorbent core. The dressing is suitable for use on wounds such as decubitus ulcers, ulcus cruris, diabetic foot ulcers, dehisced wounds, post-burn wounds, donor sites, and fragile skin conditions including epidermolysis bullosa. With the ability to be applied either side down, Cutimed Sorbion Sana Gentle offers convenient and flexible application. Its high retention capacity safely locks away exudate, making it suitable for use under compression therapy. The dressing may remain in place for up to 7 days depending on wound conditions and saturation levels, supporting reduced dressing change frequency.
